Course Tour
Brookside Country Club's 18-Hole Championship Golf Course was designed during the "Golden Age" of golf course architecture, a time when golf in America was in its infancy. The course continues to maintain many of the traditional aspects of the early design; steeply plateau greens with challenging internal slopes, deep greenside bunkers, tight contoured fairways lined with strategically placed bunkers. These elements are all part of what makes Brookside special, but it is the routing of the golf course that separates the course from many others. The use of the Swabia Creek provides a distinct challenge for golfers, the rolling Lehigh Valley topography makes for interesting lies and the use of the exposed rock quarries leaves a lasting impression on a golfer. A true classic course has a special group of par 3’s, the single-shot golf hole was a favorite for most of the famed architects of the era. Brookside has four distinct par 3’s, specifically the 12th and 5th holes. The entire 225 acre tract, complete with a full-practice facility is nestled beautifully in the Lehigh Valley.
