Swim Complex Rules & Regulations

 

The swimming area of the pool is 25 meters long with six (6) swimming lanes. Isolated diving and wading areas border the main swimming area. There is a separate baby pool.  Bathhouse facilities are available for members and guests.

These rules are for the benefit and safety of our members and guests. Please read carefully. We depend on you to support us by observing the rules and encouraging others to do likewise. By so doing we will all have a safe and enjoyable summer.

  • No one is authorized to use the pool before or after our operating hours or when a guard is not on duty.
  • Bathing Attire – Swimsuits only – No cut-offs or shorts in the pool.
  • Pool Area – Appropriate dress only. No jeans or denim (any style), cut-offs or any attire deemed offensive by management.
  • EVERYONE (MEMBERS, CHILDREN OF MEMBERS, GUESTS) MUST SIGN IN.
  • Members may bring up to twelve (12) guests and it is recommended to call in advance when bringing large groups. The member must remain at the pool while guests are present.
  • Reserving chaise lounges and chairs is not allowed; the user must be present. Preference is given to adults.
  • No running, horseplay or squirt guns in any area around the pool.
  • Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian AT ALL TIMES.  Guardians must ge 14 years of age or older.  IF A CHILD IS UNABLE TO SWIM THE LENGTH OF THE POOL WITHOUT STOPPING THE CHILD MUST, AT ALL TIMES, BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT IN THE 25 METER POOL AND DIVING AREA.
  • No child is allowed in the wading pool unless the parent or guardian is present. (No guard is on duty at the wading pool.) Children over eight (8) years of age are not allowed in the wading pool.
  • IN THE POOL: No diving in non-swimming areas of the pool. A racing dive is permitted in the competition area of the pool. No jumping into the pool on top of anyone. No holding anyone under water. No breath-holding contests. No throwing of any objects. No using flotation devices without authorization of the pool staff.
  • IN THE DIVING WELL: No diving off the board unless a lifeguard is on duty in the diving well. All dives must be straight off the board. Only one person is permitted on the board at a time. No stationary bouncing, or extended periods of time on the board will be permitted. No running on or around the board. No jumping or diving in the diving area except from the board unless a lifeguard has granted permission. No recreational swimming is permitted in the diving area unless permission is received from the lifeguard on duty.
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear pool diapers.
  • Snack Bar: Tabletops should be used for eating only. Please put all personal belongings underneath the tables. Please respect your country club and dispose of trash when necessary.
  • Members and guests are not allowed to bring food, beverages or coolers to the pool.
  • No glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool area or bathhouse.
  • The authority for enforcement of these rules is vested in the pool manager and lifeguards.
  • Members and guests may not reprimand any employee. Complaints are to be directed to the Club Manager, Pool Manager or Committee Chairperson.
 

Pool Guest Policy

  • Resident guests are persons who reside within a radius of fifty (50) miles of the Clubhouse and who may be afforded the privilege of swim facilities when accompanied by a member (all classifications except Social Dining and Social Dining plus Tennis) an Active or House member of the Club. Any one resident guest may not use the swim facilities more than one time per week in a swimming season.
  • All members must sign in at the Registration Desk. No guests are permitted at the pool without being accompanied by an eligible member at all times. Per club by-laws, those persons eligible to use the pool without paying a guest fee are Members, Associates (Spouses), registered Significant Others, and Immediate Family members (unmarried children under the age of twenty-five (25) living at home, or who are full-time students). All other family or non-family resident guests will be required to pay a guest fee and may only use the pool one time per week.
  • Members must register their guests at the Registration Desk and pay the established guest fee.
  • Upon invitation by a member of the Club, non-resident or house guests of the member may be afforded swim and Clubhouse privileges upon payment of the published rates found in the dues and fees schedule distributed at the beginning of the fiscal year.
